COMING UP - MELB FAM! PUB WITH NO BOOZE | SAT 14 OCT | VIC

On the 14th October (yep, Voting Day), we will be in attendance at this year’s Pub With No Booze event at VICTORIA HOTEL FOOSTCRAY.

Hot on the heels of two previous sold out events this is the third instalment of the OG non-alcoholic tasting party to top all parties.

This event brings together the best non-alcoholic producers in Australia with a couple of note-worthy internationals, to curate a day of tasting, food by Street BBQ's Matt Wilkinson and some disco thanks to Lady Langers.

Founder & Publican, Anthony Hammond, tells us why this is such an important event.

“We are taking all the alcohol out of the bar and offering around 70 non-alcohol products for people to try on the day. This is a day about having fun, and everyone is there for that same reason. Pub With No Booze is all about Community & Connection and I hope it also draws a light on mental health in hospitality, which is often compounded by the consumption of alcohol and something no-one talks about!”

 

“The trends now are that people are drinking less - it’s about moderation yes but what I’m seeing, hearing and researching is that the non-alcohol market has as much stake in the wellness game as the hospitality game. I founded this event from my own identity crisis and complicated relationship with alcohol but this event is actually not about sobriety at all, it doesn't matter why your into it - it's about inclusivity.”
